Introduction
Silicon barium BaSi alloy have good deoxidation and desulfurization effects, especially in the production of high quality special steel, silicon barium alloy is indispensable. The silicon barium alloy has a high density, and it is easier to precipitate into the molten steel than silicon, aluminum, and calcium, and achieve better deoxidation and desulfurization effects.
Silicon barium alloy is usually combined with calcium, aluminum, strontium and other elements to make multiple alloy products, such as: silicon barium calcium BaCaSi, silicon barium aluminum BaSiAl, silicon aluminum barium calcium BaSiCaAl and other composite alloy raw materials with a wide range of applications.
Silicon barium alloy is also used as an inoculant in casting with a longer lasting and more efficient inoculant. Silicon Barium has better effect and lower cost than ferrosilicon.
