Introduction
Silicon barium calcium ( SiBaCa ) alloy is a good deoxidizer in steelmaking, and it has good desulfurization and dephosphorization capabilities. Silicon barium calcium plays a very important role in the production of steel with low sulfur and phosphorus, and has broad application prospects in the production of special steel.
In steelmaking, the calcium vapor has a stirring effect on the molten steel, which is conducive to the complete mixing of the alloy raw materials and the molten steel. At the same time, barium can effectively reduce the vapor pressure of calcium and increase the solubility of calcium in molten iron.

Application
Siliconbarium calcium alloy is a new type of high efficiency composite alloy in barium alloys. CaSiBa alloy can be used as deoxidizer, desulfurizer, and dephosphorization agent in steelmaking, and can also be used as an inoculant or modifier in casting.
Barium effectively reduces the vapor pressure of calcium during steelmaking and increases the solubility of calcium in molten steel. Compared with silicon calcium alloy, barium effectively protects calcium in molten steel, reduces calcium oxidation, increases the content of calcium in molten steel, and achieves the purpose of calcium treatment of molten steel.
